Concept sheets for an aquatic ecosystem in a fantasy short film, coral trees and overall atmosphere.
A gnarled tree modeled and scuplted in Blender. Bake of the highpoly mesh and texturing on Substance Painter. Foliage made with a simple particle system or from free models (last image).
A faeric forest created in Blender. Lighting and composition were refined in Photoshop using an exposure mask and a few brushstrokes.
